A.       Engineering:

                      i.        Brown & Caldwell – Agreement: Expert Testimony in support of negotiations with Denver Water

Cost: $30,000

2025 Budget: Not budgeted, but necessary in support of condemnation proceedings against Denver Water for CBWRF and South Platte Diversion projects. 

                     ii.        Tetra Tech - Amendment No. 1: Work is associated with the raw water line design efforts from the South Platte Diversion to the Moore Water Treatment Plant. Douglas County and Chatfield Farms requested that the alignment accommodate a 10-ft sidewalk on the south side of Waterton Road.

Cost: $4,150

2025 Budget  - This cost is included in the budget for the South Platte Diversion design.

                iii.           CDM Smith - Amendment No. 16: Amendment provides for additional engineering services during construction due to extended schedule and additional requests for engineering support during the Filing 7 Lift Station construction.

Cost: $26,829

Budget: This cost is still within the total budget for Filing 7 Lift Station.

              iv.             PCL – Work Package No. 1: Work includes the interim flow equalization basin, to be reimbursed by Roxborough Water & Sanitation District per the O-line agreement, and demolition work for the above ground structures on-site.

Cost: $2,031,421

2025 Budget – This cost is included in the budget for the WWTP Design and Construction. $705,394 of this will be reimbursed by RWSD.

               v.             PCL – Work Package No. 2a: Work includes pre-procurement of long lead items for electrical equipment.  

Cost: $1,781,847

2025 Budget - This cost is included in the budget for the WWTP Design and Construction.

B.       Operations:

                 i.             Brown’s Hill – Change Order: Work includes installation of instrumentation and controls for the Titan Road and Willow Creek lift station to include alarms.

Cost: $8,690

2025 Budget – This cost is budgeted under Titan Lift Station Improvements.

C.       Finance:

                 i.             Sterling Ranch Development Company: Sterling Ranch Development Company (DevCo) is providing the services of BKW Consulting, LLC to assist Dominion on various financial and operational projects. This agreement allows for Dominion to reimburse DevCo for such services.

Cost: Estimate of $165,000

2025 Budget – This cost was not budgeted but will be partially offset by the reduction in compensation and benefits due to the departure of the previous Director of Finance.
